Coimbatore District Union Takes Up Withdrawal of ₹1,000 FMA with Hon’ble MP
Comrades,
The Coimbatore District Union of AIBDPA met Com. Su. Venkatesan, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Madurai Constituency, on 03.10.2026 during his visit to Udumalpet.
The District Union apprised the Hon’ble MP of the BSNL Corporate Office order withdrawing the Fixed Medical Allowance (FMA) of ₹1,000 per month to BSNL pensioners with effect from 01.10.2026.
The delegation explained in detail the difficulties being faced by pensioners, the stand taken by pensioners’ organisations, and the organisational activities being carried out against the withdrawal of FMA.
The delegation, led by Com. A. Kudiyarasu, DS/AGS, along with Com. Nisar Ahmed, Circle Vice President, and other comrades, requested the Hon’ble MP to intervene in the matter, take up the issue with BSNL/DoT and the Hon’ble Minister for Communications, and raise the issue in Parliament, seeking the immediate restoration of the ₹1,000 monthly FMA to BSNL pensioners.
The Hon’ble MP was felicitated with a shawl and a memorandum was submitted, requesting his intervention and necessary action.
At the time of submission of the memorandum, Com. Nisar Ahmed (CVP), Com. Babu, District President, BSNLEU, Com. Chinnasamy, Branch Secretary, Com. C. Mani, District Assistant Secretary, Com. Kalyanaraman, Com. Mayilsamy and Com. Kalimuthu were present.
The Tamil Nadu Circle Union congratulates the Coimbatore comrades for effectively taking up the genuine issue of BSNL pensioners with the Hon’ble Member of Parliament. We also convey our appreciation to the Udumalpet AIBDPA and BSNLEU comrades for arranging the meeting with the Hon’ble MP and extending their cooperation.

தோழர்களே,
கோவை மாவட்ட AIBDPA சங்கத்தின் சார்பில், மதுரை நாடாளுமன்றத் தொகுதி மாண்புமிகு நாடாளுமன்ற உறுப்பினர் தோழர் சு. வெங்கடேசன் அவர்களை, அவர் 03.10.2026 அன்று உடுமலைப்பேட்டைக்கு வந்திருந்தபோது நேரில் சந்தித்தோம்.
01.10.2026 முதல் BSNL ஓய்வூதியர்களுக்கு வழங்கப்பட்டு வந்த மாதாந்திர ₹1,000 நிலையான மருத்துவ அலவன்ஸ் (FMA) நிறுத்தப்பட்டுள்ள BSNL கார்ப்பரேட் அலுவலக உத்தரவு குறித்து மாண்புமிகு எம்.பி. அவர்களிடம் எடுத்துரைக்கப்பட்டது.
மேலும், FMA நிறுத்தப்பட்டதால் ஓய்வூதியர்கள் எதிர்கொள்ளும் சிரமங்கள், ஓய்வூதியர் சங்கங்களின் நிலைப்பாடு மற்றும் FMA-வை மீண்டும் வழங்கக் கோரி நடைபெற்று வரும் சங்க இயக்கங்கள் குறித்தும் விரிவாக விளக்கப்பட்டது.
தோழர் A. குடியரசு, DS/AGS , தோழர் நிசார் அகமது, மாநில துணைத் தலைவர் (CVP) மற்றும் இதர தோழர்கள், இந்தப் பிரச்சினையில் மாண்புமிகு எம்.பி. அவர்கள் தலையிட்டு, BSNL/DoT நிர்வாகத்திடமும், மாண்புமிகு தொலைத்தொடர்பு அமைச்சரிடமும் இப்பிரச்சினையை எடுத்துரைத்து, நாடாளுமன்றத்திலும் குரல் எழுப்பி, BSNL ஓய்வூதியர்களுக்கான மாதாந்திர ₹1,000 FMA-வை உடனடியாக மீண்டும் வழங்க நடவடிக்கை எடுக்க வேண்டும் எனக் கேட்டுக்கொண்டனர்.
மாண்புமிகு எம்.பி. அவர்கள் சால்வை அணிவித்து கௌரவிக்கப்பட்டார். அவருடைய தலையீட்டையும் தேவையான நடவடிக்கையையும் கோரி மனுவும் சமர்ப்பிக்கப்பட்டது.
மனு சமர்ப்பிக்கும் நிகழ்வில் தோழர் நிசார் அகமது (CVP), தோழர் பாபு, BSNLEU மாவட்டத் தலைவர், தோழர் சின்னசாமி, கிளைச் செயலாளர், தோழர் C. மணி, மாவட்ட உதவிச் செயலாளர், தோழர்கள் கல்யாணராமன், மயில்சாமி மற்றும் காளிமுத்து ஆகியோர் கலந்து கொண்டனர்.
BSNL ஓய்வூதியர்களின் நியாயமான பிரச்சினையை மாண்புமிகு நாடாளுமன்ற உறுப்பினர் அவர்களிடம் சிறப்பாக எடுத்துச் சென்ற கோவை மாவட்டத் தோழர்களை தமிழ்நாடு மாநிலச் சங்கம் பாராட்டுகிறது.
மேலும், மாண்புமிகு எம்.பி. அவர்களுடனான சந்திப்பை ஏற்பாடு செய்து, அதற்கு முழு ஒத்துழைப்பு வழங்கிய உடுமலைப்பேட்டை AIBDPA மற்றும் BSNLEU தோழர்களுக்கும் தமிழ்நாடு மாநிலச் சங்கத்தின் பாராட்டுகளையும் வாழ்த்துகளையும் தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறோம்.
